How to encode a visa gift card with a faulty strip to a new card

So I'm trying to encode my visa gift physical card number with a faulty strip to my other gift card with a working strip so I can swipe it at stores, any ideas

I have a encoder/decoder mag strip I've had for years and might come in handy now

It has a large balance and I'm trying to hit the mall with it rather than waiting 2-3 weeks for a replacement
