Is this setup good enough?

I'm new and was wondering if this setup would be good enough for protection:

Host OS -> VPN -> Whonix VM -> RDP -> Socks5

If someone who is experienced could message me what they use I would appreciate it.

Also If I didn't want to use RDP then I wouldn't be able to just use whonix in VM and socks5 because it would be running through tor? Looking for a better suggested way without RDP
