Hey guys,

I'm currently setting-up my config to card, and I was a bit confused when I had to choose a hosting OS for my Windows 7 VM.

I can't decide myself between several OS which are a simple Debian 10, Parrot Sec and Alpine Linux.

I think Debian is a good choice, stable, secure and I can install all my required softs on it. Parrot Sec is more heavier and I'm not sure that will be easy to run VM on it for the speed etc. But there is a lot of tools (too many?) that I would use to hack and for security. The final possibility is Alpine Linux, a very lightweight distribution, i will be able to run maybe several VM on it easly and i'ts okay to install my softs on it quickly.

So to sum up my problem :

Debian 10 : too heavy ? too simple ? what about security, secure enough ?
Parrot Sec : too many tools ? too heavy to run VM(s) easly ?
Alpine Linux : secure enough ? any secure leaks ?

Thank you for your time and your help.
