you can run all windows apps on wine. you can install homebrew package manager for running kali/arch linux tools. you can install virtualbox or parallels and then windows7/10 in it...
i dont see any reason for not using mac. On windows all stuff is more easy than Unix like (linux/mac/bsd/solaris) but w/mac is everything possible also..
openssl is one tool that you can change your mac address, acrogenesis/macchanger through brew is another one great tool.
