Shouldnt be using a checker to check balances or auths unless they are low value cards and dont care about ruining if it kills it OR if they are randomly generated card numbers from RNGs using the same algo as banks do to make cards numbers (minus AMEX)

Should be using the method where you call the specifics bank general csr number and working through the machine response menus to figure out balance, recent spends and amts spent to correspond to those as well as possible.
