I'm @Thug
A little about me, maybe you can learn something from this right away:
First, I started out virtual carding, I would hit Stripe back when it was hot. It was really easy to create fake stores, build aged accounts, and run charges with legit charges from VCC's.
Then, I graduated to physical carding, Wal-Mart and Home Depot were viciously easy with self-checkout, and my dumps would always hit. I forgot the provider, but they were very good. I would shoot for gift cards and sell for 50% of value for BTC back when people were more trusting/stupid on marketplaces.
Then, I got into sim-swapping. I was really bad at it originally, and took risks with public methods that were pretty much what you see in any news article. I targeted high-tier social media accounts, and would try to either befriend them under different monickers, or try DB pulls for info so that I could get their phone + name. With name, I'd easily just get their SSN and sim-swap them.
Then, I got wise, saved up, and was able to get my hands on a paid, private list of Ethereum holders (hacked from a site with 10k+ users). This is especially good, because I could only assume they held Bitcoin as well, double dose! I would then go through DB's and try to dig up more info. Granted, my list only had emails, but with those, I could automate DB pulls with scripts and dig up more info. If a target had sufficient information, and the right phone carrier (easily can look up phone carrier from phone), then I would perform an efficient, no contact, sim-swap. I would usually hit every wallet I could find in their inbox from signup emails, or from DBs. 70% of my targets were worthwhile, some of them had nothing and I misprofiled them.
Overall, I'm very happy with the gains, and am happy to answer any questions you might have. It's all really so easy, and IMO is one of the only things in this world that can get you over $100,000 in one pop.
