Im gonna swipe instore for my first time any tips ? Do i purchase something little to see if the card goes thru or just go straight to a regular purchase like 200$ worth ? And whats better credit or debit dumps ?

i know someone who went to a certain store and bought a 3000 dollar generator and has done this a dozen or more times at this same store and didnt even have the billing zip for the card
