How do you write CC track data?

I have fullz but need to convert it into Track data. I have a MSR. I believe i wrote the entire code correctly except for the part of the sequence labeled discretionary data, what is discretionary data, and how do i figure it out and get it on the card? Also, if anyone would be interested in teaching me a little more about this whole endeavor, I'd be really happy to talk to someone who knows this game a little better than I do.
