How to Purchase Bitcoin
Some people new to the scene have this agenda that Bitcoin is hard to obtain, but it's really not. You can obtain Bitcoin via multiple Payment methods such as:
  • Bank Transfer
  • PayPal
  • Store Giftcards
Depending on the site, depends on what Payment method you can use to obtain Bitcoin. For example some services are sole server ran and some services allow independent vendors to sell via an onsite escrow. Independent vendors also accept a variety of Payment methods such as the previously mentioned: PayPal and Store Giftcards.

  • paxful.com (Independent Vendors)
  • coinbase.com (Independent Vendors)
  • localbitcoins.com (Independent Vendors)
  • bitonic.nl (Bank Transfer)
Out of experience, Bittonic has been by far the most open service for usage by myself; a service which allows both buying/selling, at good rates.

Paxful.com works great for buying BTC with giftcards. Only their exchange rate are terrible these days.. Btw @cuba19, do you happen to be Dutch as well :).

Blockchain, Wirex and solidi are good places to purchase BTC!
Blockchain don't do a passport check so you could somewhat spoof them with a quick passport edit
Wirex needs up and front ID
Solidi has a short limit but requires ID being sent 18+ including a proof of address
The 3 decent sites I know of with decent verified account limits.
