Shipping address in different country to the cardholder address

I want to CC some branded clothes off a couple websites such as Farfetch.com, will using a US cc not work for having something shipped to Ireland or will it not be a problem? Sometimes these sites give options to wrap it as a gift.. as long as I take the necessary steps will this be a problem for me? Or should I try using a UK card, (I don’t trust that many Irish ccs for sale will be live) I would much rather use a US cc personally. Thanks
