Using prepaid mobile hotspot

Ive tried to look into hotspots and anonymity but haven’t found much info. I was wondering if using a prepaid hotspot along with multiple vpns, qubes and probably an rdp would be a solid method? I don’t feel comfortable using my home network even with the level of security I’m going with. Anyone have any experience with hotspots or know how secure they would be using my methods above?
